How big do you love coffee?

From college students to business people to just plain caffeine addicts, coffee seems to be the beverage of choice for fast, tasty energy.   Coffee is the pick-me-up that gets you going...sometimes in more ways than one.  I am a college student, a business person... and, unfortunately, a self-proclaimed coffee addict.  For those who are less well-versed in the lingo that comes with struttin into Starbucks and ordering a beverage, starting any kind of coffee-habit could pose a challenge.  The foreign words "tall," "grande," and "venti" are enough to intimidate any patron to run for fear of being judged by everyone else who is in the loop when it comes to claiming a cup-size for their coffee.  To be totally honest, I had to guess what size I wanted before I figured out that I an addict and, therefore, should always order the largest size.  At Starbucks, it's called a venti.  That's twenty ounces of any delicious coffee-filled and/or sugar-saturated beverage :).........OR you can hit up Dunkin Dohnuts because their largest size (which is an extra-large) is twenty-four ounces! You look sleepy, drink up!

  1. As anyone who knows me can attest, I love coffee in a big -- I mean "grande"-- way. I usually order the largest size available too. Unless it is after 7 pm. Then I stick with a medium or a small. But I'd never deign to drink, shudder, a "decaf". Coffee without the caffeine? That's just wrong...

  2. I agree! I am obsessed with coffee. Sad thing is, I drink it at 7am, noon, and about 6pm. Sometimes even 10pm! I just love the taste and the warmth! I go for a grande or venti, never once have I gotten a tall! The difference in price is definitely worth getting the big one! Love the picture by the way! I like both Starbucks and Dunkin! Life without coffee? Now that's just scary.

  3. Haha! I totally agree with both of you, obviously :). I always go for the biggest size because if I don't I know I'm going to finish the smaller one and want more. I'm just preparing for the future when the coffee is gone (from the cup, not the world, don't freak out!!)
